5 Petal Fabric Flowers

Step 1:  With the fabric that you have chosen, use the bottom of a glass to make a circle pattern.  When I was making the patterns I made 4 different sizes so if I wanted to I could add a second row of petals.

Step 2: Use one of the patterns to cut out six Circles

Step 3: Fold the circles in half and iron them

Step 4: Fold the half circles in half again and iron so that you have six quarter circles.

Step 5: Tie a knot at the end of some matching thread and sew three stitches on each petal.  Use the same string for all six petals so that they are all connected.

Step 6: When all the petals are sewn together, scrunch them all up and shape them into a circle.  With the same thread, stitch the two ends together so the circle shape will stay together.

Step 7: Hot glue a round piece of felt to the back of the flower to cover the raw edges.

Step 8:  Hot glue or sew hair clip to the felt

Step 9: Pick out a cute button that is big enough to cover the middle of the flower and hot glue it on.
