 Step
1:  With the fabric that you have chosen,
use the bottom of a glass to make a circle pattern.  When I was making the patterns I made 4
different sizes so if I wanted to I could add a second row of petals.

Step 2: Use one of the patterns to cut out six Circles 
Step 4: Fold the half circles in half again and iron so that
you have six quarter circles. 
 Step 5:
Tie a knot at the end of some matching thread and sew three stitches on each
petal.  Use the same string for all six
petals so that they are all connected.

Step 6: When all the petals are sewn together, scrunch them
all up and shape them into a circle. 
With the same thread, stitch the two ends together so the circle shape
will stay together.
Step 7:
Hot glue a round piece of felt to the back of the flower to cover the raw
edges. 
Step 8:  Hot glue or sew
hair clip to the felt
